Louis Lasnier
Louis Lasnier ( Montreal, QC) was educated at Collège Jean-de Brébeuf, Laval University, and Queen’s University. He worked as a teacher of French literature at the CEGEP de Saint-Laurent for 25 years, and has served as the Secretary-General of les Écrivains francophones d’Amérique since May 2000.
He has published work on Hubert Aquin, and Philippe Aubert de Gaspé, as well as numerous book reviews. His most recent work is a biography of noted writer and critic Gérard Bessette called La Mort D'Omer Marin, anthropoïde.
Louis Lasnier is the representative of les Écrivains francophones d'Amérique.
